Dichroitic/Daylight Filter Clips
FD dichroitic color filters produce colored light by reflecting particular wavelengths and transmitting the rest. FL daylight conversion filters boost color temperature from 2900°K to 5000 °K.
When applying our filters, using standard open lamps is sufficient. Nevertheless, all filter clips can also be applied to covered lamps. When relamping, the filters can be kept.
The filters are made of tempered coated glass, about 2.7 mm thick for heavy duty applications. A ventilation gap of appr. 2 mm helps to reduce the socket temperature of open lamps. We make dichroitic filters for MR 16 / PAR 16 only. Other sizes upon inquiry.
